Thank you for visiting my website and blog. I started this endeavor because I wanted to share my knowledge and love for cooking homemade dishes. I make about 95% of my meals and snacks from scratch. I stay away from processed foods as much as possible.
About me:
Dr. Lynne Robinson
I have an undergrad, masters, and a PH.D. minor in Health Promotion. My Ph.D. major was in Research, Measurement, and Statistics which affords me the skills to be able to understand the technical aspects of research study findings .
With Serving the Dish, I want to share healthy and not so healthy recipes as well as the benefits of strength training. My main source of exercise is Jiu Jitsu. I cross train with strength and agililty training. There will be a lot of crossing over into fitness in my recipes because much of my life revolves around competitions and training. I eat depending on what is in store for the day and upcoming weigh-ins.
In 2023 I won IBJJF Worlds and was promoted to Purple Belt. This was one of the best years of my life at the age of 56.
