I started with 50 lb deadlifts. 6 weeks later I deadlifted 100 lbs for 5 reps. It was after 4 previous sets where I built up to 100 by adding 5 lbs at a time. And I am now lifting 200 lbs on the glute drive. I don’t remember how long ago I started doing that machine, but I started at 120. My goal was to be able to lift at least my opponents weight for the middleweight division…and I’ve surpassed that.
