








Ingredients
2 egg yolks
1 whole egg
1 tablespoon vinegar (I use the tablespoon to guide, but I typically overpour the tablespoon into the jar)
1 cup oil (I use peanut oil). Rarely do I measure, but for mayo, I use exactly 1 cup.
Directions for Homemade Mayonnaise
- Put 2 egg yolks and 1 egg in a jar. Add 1 tablesppon of vinegar and 1 cup of oil.
- Using a immersion blender, start blending in spurts.
- As the eggs and oil start blending toether, you can speed up the mixing.
Directions For Creamy BAsil
- Using the mayo, add basil, garlic, salt, pepper, and any other herb you want. I also add parsley. Use the immersion blender again to blend.

Ketchup (homemade or store bought)
Onion (I use about 1/4 to 1/2 of a white onion)
Splash of pickle juice and lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Directions For Thousand Island Dressing
- Using the homemade mayo, add ketchup, onion, squirt of lemon, splash of pickle juice, and a little salt and pepper. Use the immersion blender again to blend.
